The Gallagher S16li is an innovative solar-powered electric fence energiser. Thanks to its built-in lithium battery, this device is 30% lighter and more compact than comparable models, making it not only more portable but also more powerful and reliable. The S16li delivers a voltage of 8 kV and, with a power of 0.16 joules, is suitable for fences up to 1.5 km.
Can be used all year round
Thanks to lithium technology and the advanced 3W solar panel, the device charges itself three times faster in daylight and offers three times longer operating time than comparable energisers. This means a reliable power supply, day and night, summer and winter. Thanks to intelligent adaptive energy control, the Gallagher battery management system, the device continues to operate even in periods of low light.
Made for years of outdoor use
The S16li is extremely robust and completely maintenance-free. The fully sealed housing and magnetic rotary knob protect the electronics and battery. The patented solar panel has double glazing and the S16li has built-in lightning protection. This makes the device resistant to insects and all weather conditions. With a seven-year product warranty, including three years on the battery, you are assured of reliable protection for your animals for a long time to come.
Recommendations for use:
Place the device with the solar panel facing south-west and free of vegetation. Earth it with a single 1-metre earth stake (#008735) or a double 2x0.5m earth stake (#090457). Do not place it on the ground, but use the optional bracket (#571126) to mount it on a post or earth stake, or the stand (#007509) that can be driven into the ground and also serves as an earth stake. The red and green cables with crocodile clips to connect the device to the fence and earth stake are included. After purchase or storage, allow the device to fully charge in daylight for three days by placing it in the off position facing south. Also do this when the red LED light indicates that the battery is almost empty. For long-term storage, keep the device in a dark, dry and ventilated place.
