Bentonite earthing mix is a recommended earthing option. Earthing a fence energiser is essential in order for it to work correctly and deliver an effective shock. The Bentonite mix is quick and easy to use, is particularly effective in poor earthing soils (dry or sandy soil) and for earthing larger fence energisers. The earthing mix includes an earth clamp and a salt and absorbent clay mixture, which retains moisture. Earthing rods are also required (but not included).
