Gallagher Warranty Policy

At Gallagher, we design products you can rely on every day. That's why we offer a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship that occur under normal use throughout the applicable warranty period.

If a product develops a defect in materials or workmanship during the warranty period, Gallagher will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product or provide another suitable solution in accordance with the applicable warranty terms.

The warranty period starts on the date of purchase. Please keep your proof of purchase, invoice or order confirmation in a safe place.

Most Gallagher products come with a standard 2-year warranty from the date of purchase.

This warranty applies to consumers who:

• purchased the product as an end user;
• hold a valid proof of purchase;
• used the product in accordance with the user manual and Gallagher's instructions;
• installed and maintained the product correctly;
• report a fault caused by a defect in materials or workmanship.

3-year warranty on energisers

Gallagher energisers come with a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase.

This warranty applies to consumers who:

• purchased the product as an end user;
• hold a valid proof of purchase;
• installed and operated the energiser in accordance with Gallagher's guidelines;
• have not made any modifications that affect the operation of the unit;
• report a fault caused by a defect in materials or workmanship.

Gallagher offers an extended warranty of up to 7 years on selected energisers. Eligible products are clearly marked on their product page. Extend your warranty.

Gallagher batteries come with a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that occur under normal use and when the battery is charged correctly.

A natural loss of battery capacity due to use, ageing or frequent charging cycles is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Selected Gallagher products and accessories come with a 10-year extended warranty.

Eligible products are clearly marked on their product page.

The extended warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that occur under normal use in accordance with the product instructions.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by:

• misuse, improper use or use for purposes other than intended;
• incorrect installation;
• failure to follow the operating or maintenance instructions;
• fair wear and tear;
• modifications, repairs or alterations carried out by unauthorised persons;
• the use of non-approved parts or accessories;
• external events such as fire, storms, lightning strikes, flooding or vandalism;
• accidental damage or negligence.

These exclusions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, including your legal guarantee rights.
