My device is not working or not giving enough power, what should I do?
Check the device separately from the fence. If the device works correctly and all values are normal, the issue likely lies with the fence.
Check the fence for possible causes of power loss, such as:
- Broken or faulty insulators
- Vegetation touching the wire
- Damaged wiring or connections
Also check whether the earthing system is correctly installed and functioning properly. You can use the Gallagher Check page for step-by-step guidance.
If the problem persists, check the fuse. If it is faulty, replace it with one of the same type.
If the device still does not function properly, it may be defective. Contact the dealer where you purchased the device to discuss repair options. If you selected home delivery, the repair must be arranged via Gallagher Europe. Please contact us for assistance.
Is there a device where the strength of the shock can be adjusted?
With the i Series energisers, you can set the device to half power.
My M300/600/1200 works at half power (yellow button), but during a short circuit the display shows full power.
The display cannot indicate that the device is operating at half power.
My Gallagher device causes radio/TV interference. What can I do about this?
