The Powerline 20mm tape from Gallagher is a good and safe 20mm Tape. This tape is ideal for shorter distances and suitable for both permanent and mobile fences. Thanks to its visibility, the tape forms a good visual barrier.
White tape is very visible to animals such as horses due to its wide, contrast-rich structure, which strongly react to visual stimuli. The white colour stands out against almost any background, which helps to recognise the tape quickly and prevent unwanted contact.
Good Conduction for shorter Fences
With a resistance of 0.18 Ω/m, the tape has a good conduction. This is due to the tinned copper wire of 0.25 mm, making the tape suitable for distances up to 500 metres. Additionally, five stainless steel wires of 0.15 mm are evenly distributed across the width.
Lightly reinforced for extra durability
The Powerline 20mm tape is also lightly reinforced with a lace wire at the top and bottom. This reduces the risk of tearing when damaged and ensures less stretching, allowing the tape to remain tight for longer when tensioned and requiring less maintenance. A tensioned tape is less sensitive to wind and imposes the least stress on the posts and insulators. The tape has a tensile strength of 175 kg.
Weatherproof and UV-protected
The UV-stabilised plastic wires in this tape are resistant to all weather conditions. This ensures that it remains flexible for years without becoming brittle. Powerline tape thus has a UV guarantee of 5 years. This allows you to rely on a safe and durable fence for a long time.
