Description
The Turboline 20 mm tape from Gallagher is the highest quality and safest 20 mm tape. This tape can be used for both short and long distances and is suitable for both permanent and mobile fences. Thanks to its visibility, the tape serves as a good visual barrier.
This blue tape is very suitable for deterring wolves, wild boars, and other wildlife. They can distinguish the colour blue better than other colours. As a result, they will recognise and avoid the game-repellent fence more quickly. This tape is then used as the top conductor.
Excellent Conductivity
With a low resistance of 0.09 Ω/m, this tape conducts far better than standard 20 mm tape. This is due to two tinned copper wires of 0.25 mm located in the centre of the tape. This is important because it ensures the entire electric fence is well powered, even over long distances of more than 500 metres. Additionally, there are two stainless steel wires of 0.16 mm and one of 0.20 mm, evenly distributed across the width.
Reinforced Edges
The Turboline 20 mm tape is additionally reinforced with a lace wire at the top and bottom. This reduces the risk of tearing when damaged and provides less stretch, ensuring the tape remains taut longer when tensioned and requires less maintenance. A tensioned Tape is less sensitive to wind and exerts the least load on the posts and insulators.
