The S16 has a charging energy of 0.16J and can handle a fence of up to 1.5km. It can be used on cows and horses and is easy to carry. The biggest advantage is that the solar panel charges the battery, so you don't have to lug batteries around the country.
Year-round use
Even without direct sunlight, this device continues to function for up to 3 weeks thanks to its intelligent adaptive battery management system. This allows the device to be used all year round.
All-weather installation and robust design
After purchase, you only need to attach the supplied connection set to the contacts on the front of the unit. Connect the red clamp to the electric fence, the green one to the earth stake. We recommend using a 1x0.5m earth stake. In addition, the device has built-in lightning protection and a robust housing to help protect it.
The switch has been replaced by a magnetic rotary knob. This is less fragile.
Advice for use
Make sure the solar panel is free of grass to make the best use of sunlight. Using a stand support (not included) (art. 571102), the S16 can be attached to a ring top post.
