100m fence; nets vs. SmartFence
Sheep nets are a reliable fence for keeping animals inside. They are available in different qualities and heights. However, sheep nets also have some disadvantages. Making corners is more difficult, you sometimes have a piece of net left over at the end of your fence and height differences in your pasture can cause problems.
SmartFence: all-in-one system
The SmartFence is a portable electric all-in-one system. It combines posts, reels and wire in one product. The system has a reel with 4 100-metre wires and 10 posts. Via the reel, you roll up 4 wires at once, this can be done by hand or with a cordless drill. One of the four wires is a turbo wire that ensures perfect conduction of current.
Ideal for temporary and mobile fences
Remote meadows, temporary pastures or fencing off an orchard, for example; the SmartFence makes it easy! The fence can be placed in any shape thanks to the flexible posts. You can also compensate for height differences in pastures. In addition, the wires are adjustable in height and several SmartFences can be linked together, ideal for longer fences!
Perfect conduction
Because the lower wire is further away from the ground than a sheep net, you are less bothered by vegetation growing against the wire. So you lose less power and your fence remains reliable. The bracing lines help keep the fence taut.
