Description
The Gallagher MBS400 is a robust 3-in-1 multi power energiser. This versatile device can operate on mains power (230V), a separate 12V battery, or a 12V battery with a solar panel. You can easily choose the source you want to use with the rotary knob, ensuring you always have a suitable power supply. This allows you to use the MBS400 anywhere – from permanent fences at the farm to mobile pastures deep in the field – without compromising safety or reliability. With a charging energy of 4 J (3 J pulse) and a maximum output voltage of 9100 volts, the device is suitable for fences up to 30 kilometres (16 ha). Under normal conditions, it is suitable for Fences up to 8 km. This keeps horses, cattle, sheep, goats, and hobby livestock safely in their pasture.
Smart energy management
The device has LED lights that show the status of the fence. Do they turn red or do you see that something has changed? Then you know it's time to investigate. When the system is set to solar panel mode, the built-in Smart Battery Management system is activated. This system monitors the battery voltage, checks whether the solar panel provides enough power, and automatically reduces the pulse frequency and voltage as soon as it uses more for a long time than it charges and the battery becomes too empty. This keeps the fence powered for as long as possible, while the battery gets the chance to fully recharge more quickly with sufficient daylight.
Mobile and powerful: deployable anywhere
Compared to a purely mains-powered device, with the MBS400 you are not tied to one location. The MBS400 is built to perform in the field and last a very long time. The compact design is easy to carry and install, yet also splash-proof and resistant to the toughest weather conditions. The built-in lightning protection ensures that the device is protected as well as possible against overvoltage during thunderstorms. In addition, the device is virtually maintenance-free – once installed, it requires little attention.

Both the connection cable for a 12V battery, the adapter for use on mains power (230V), and a cable to connect the MBS400 to the fence (in the meadow), are included.
