The M950 is very reliable thanks to the intelligent adaptive control module. This means that the device adjusts its power to the connected fence. Do you add a fence wire or does the vegetation against the wire increase? Then the M950 automatically adds extra power to maintain sufficient voltage on the wire. This way, it keeps the voltage at a constant level for a long time. The device has LED lights on which you can read the status of the fence. Do they turn red or do you see that something has changed? Then you know it’s time to investigate.

Optimal voltage under load, not on paper

The M950 delivers a voltage of 7700 volts. However, this voltage is not that relevant. It’s about the voltage on the fence wire and the shock an animal receives, the 'voltage under load'. This is where the M950 excels: it gets and keeps more voltage on the fence than comparable devices. This is because Gallagher develops all electronic components themselves and produces each device in-house. The transistors and capacitors are perfectly matched for maximum efficiency: the strongest pulse with the lowest energy consumption. Thanks to the adaptive control module, this energy consumption is even lower.
