No power loss through the legs on the ground
A unique feature of the Gallagher tumble wheel is that it is designed to always retain power on the legs that are not on the ground. Of the six legs a tumble wheel has, only two are free of current. These are the legs that touch the ground. The other four legs remain live, so animals cannot move or damage the tumble wheels. The metal plate in the centre of the tumble wheel moves with it as the tumble wheel rolls, ensuring that there is no loss of power through the legs on the ground.
Perfect for cows: Fence at the right height
Gallagher tumble wheels are specifically designed for grazing cows. The maximum fence height is 0.78 metres. They are suitable for use in pasture systems where strip grazing or ration grazing is central.
