“Jannes’ extensive experience and people-focused leadership style make him an ideal fit for this role,” said Lisbeth Jacobs, Chief Executive for Gallagher Animal Management. “We are excited to welcome him into the Gallagher family and look forward to the impact he will have in advancing our business and culture across Europe.”
Jannes recently joined the Gallagher Europe Management Team at an offsite strategic planning session, offering an early opportunity to engage with his new team. Following this, he accompanied senior leaders on a tour through Austria, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom to connect with key teams and customers.
Speaking about his appointment, Jannes shared:
“I was drawn to Gallagher by its reputation as a market leader, the strong brand and innovative product offerings, and the core values that were clearly evident in the people I met throughout the recruitment process. The fact that Gallagher is a family-owned business, focused on long-term continuity and sustainability, truly resonated with me. I’m looking forward to working with the Gallagher Europe team to grow and develop our markets across Europe, particularly in the areas of electric fencing, animal performance & traceability and virtual fencing through eShepherdTM.”
Jannes’ formally starts with Gallagher Europe in September. His appointment marks a new chapter for Gallagher Europe following the company’s acquisition by Gallagher Group in April 2025. The company continues to strengthen its presence and partnerships across the region; further leveraging Gallagher’s extensive global network and support.
Gallagher extends sincere thanks to interim GM for Europe, Roald van Noort, for his outstanding leadership. Roald has been with the business since April to provide steady management and offer guidance and stability through the early business transitions following acquisition. Roald’s last day with Gallagher Europe will be 29 August.
